Send Email Messages Successfully

List buyers should understand that some email delivery services do not allow you to send cold emails to addresses in a purchased list.  These include Constant Contact, Send in Blue, Hubspot, Mail Chimp, Brevo, SendGrid, Aweber, Vertical Response and others. Also note that Gmail is not an appropriate system for sending large numbers of email messages.

If you need to find an email delivery service that will send your cold email messages then please consider  Hotsol  who are one of the market leaders when it comes to sending B2B email messages to a purchased list.

WHY VALID EMAIL ADDRESSES CAN STILL BOUNCE

We provide refunds for Hard Bounces where an email was sent and the recipient’s server rejected it outright and returned a message such as “Account does not exist,” “domain does not exist,” “mailbox does not exist”. However, we do not provide refunds for other types of bounces that are beyond our control;

  • Mailbox is full (over limit).

  • Recipient email server has been sent too many emails during a period of time.

  • Email message is too large.

  • Email message blocked due to content. (See below)

  • 1) Email message doesn’t meet the recipient server’s policies.

  • 2) Email message doesn’t meet the recipient server’s anti-spam requirements.

  • 3) Email message doesn’t meet the recipient server’s anti-virus requirements.

  • 4) Email message doesn’t meet the recipient server’s sender requirements.

  • Email has been sent from a service that cannot be used to send bulk email messages (ie Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail etc)

  • Email message failed DMARC

  • Email is sent from an IP address with a bad reputation (a common problem with many low-cost email delivery services)

Bounces due to Content

While we regularly check our Lists for invalid email addresses, an email can bounce even when the recipient’s address is valid and deliverable, simply due to the content of the message and these types of bounces are beyond our control. Many email servers employ advanced anti-spam filters that evaluate the email’s content – such as text, images, or links – and block messages that appear suspicious or are flagged as spammy. Factors that may trigger content filters include:

  • Spammy language: emails with excessive promotional language, overuse of exclamation points, or certain flagged keywords can be rejected by spam filters.

  • Suspicious links or attachments: links to blacklisted websites or attachments containing harmful files may cause your email to bounce.

  • Improperly formatted HTML: poorly structured HTML emails, or messages that contain hidden text, can trigger content filters.
